Yorkshire County are pleased to announce that Mick O'Donnell (York Railway B&SC) has agreed to take up the post as County Safeguarding officer.
We are extremely grateful to have Mick on board to further strengthen our commitment to be inclusive and welcoming to all.
Mick relocated to Yorkshire from Sussex in 2017 and remains a valued County bowler and Safeguarding Officer for his own club in York. .
Mick's role within the County will encompass all areas of County competition and planning for the future as well as advising development of our future goals to promote and grow our sport. At grass root club level Mick will become the County's point of contact for support and advice as clubs embrace safeguarding implementation during 2024.
